South Shore Guitar Association (SSGA) is a community for guitarists in Nova Scotia who are passionate about the art of solo guitar playing. Founded by guitarist Shawn Trotter, SSGA’s mission is to support and celebrate guitar music in all its styles, from fingerstyle and classical to flatpicking and hybrid techniques.
We provide a welcoming and collaborative space where guitarists of all backgrounds can connect, perform, and discuss their craft. Whether you're an experienced guitarist or just starting out, SSGA is a place to explore, learn, and grow.
